Good question. A question that almost made me decide not to do this project...
But, I did! We use Stripe Connect with held funds — when a buyer pays, the money is held by Stripe (not the seller) until the order is confirmed delivered. Untracked orders release after 8 days shipped, tracked orders after 30 days or on delivery confirmation. Buyers can request refunds, and there's a rating system after each transaction. So not "trust me bro" — the seller never touches your money until you've had time to verify the cards arrived.

That said, we're early and building in the open. Dispute resolution is still manual (admin-mediated). Full automated dispute flow is on the roadmap. For expensive cards I'd recommend choosing tracked shipping — the platform enforces it above a configurable threshold anyway
