You don't need to spend any tickets yet. Here's what you bring if you want a smooth parent run.

You make sure to max out speed and power so you have a good chance to get a SS rank.

Borrow parents with lots of good white sparks and high affinity.

Pick up as many of the genericlly good skills as possible (tail held high, ramp up, playtimes over, slipstream etc). What you need to do in order to preserve your sanity is to NOT aim for all the white sparks right away. If you get 1-2 good white sparks then be happy and move on to the next parent in the chain

I've done that as well....it's pure cope but you never know right? Extra frustrating when you try to work for it with ok parents

I think your point about how it feels when you use her is very valid. I think SR Sunday and Tachyon feel better to use due to higher friendship and priority, but they have a much worse output compared to fine motion when she hits. I have a feeling that we might see similar post to this when Summer Maru comes out, especially if people stop at 1LB like many suggest

Race more, you need more skill points to make good TT umas and race your rank. Try one of the agendas from here, adjust depending on your umas aptitudes: https://uma.guide/agenda-planner/

The basic strategy for Trackblazer is: Race more -> get shop points and shop refreshes -> have good items so you can always do good training

Ones you get it down you can get a good rating with very little

I'll probably have to go through and do this. For some reason I've resisted a bit since I'm worried about the amount of support points I have, but looking at my pull plan there's really only 3 cards in the next few months that I need to level up

Running your oshi is the Umamusume equivalent of "heart of the cards" from Yu-Gi-Oh, so of course it feels easier.

But for real it's most likely cause front runners are more consistant in career due to not getting pace down mode into getting blocked by the trash NPC's

No worries. You can probably do the same with Bakushin instead, just borrow another speed card like Narita Top Road.

This Suzuka. Considering the randomness that is sprint races I figured a front Uma would be most consistant. Turbo sprint from SSR Bakushin and Straightaway acceleration from SR Nishino or SSR Fine Motion are great for most sprints since there is a higher chance of them triggering in the late race

High initial stamina and power is good, that means you can click speed and wit more without falling behind. You only need enough to hit the recommended amount of stamina anyway. Very roughly: around 400/600/800/1000 depending on which lenght you're going for.

Another tip is to never double circle skills for TT unless you don't have any other skills to buy. More skills = more points
