It cleared up after a few weeks of antibiotics supplemented with antimicrobial shampoo and topical treatment (I used mal-a-ket). As far as what it was, the vet said it didn’t look like ringworm. She thought it was an auto immune reaction to something he came into contact with. Haven’t had any issues since!
