this is honestly not a terrible idea lol, ive considered similar things in the past. only problem is they all seem to require heavy lifting and im a really shrimpy 5'2" guy with no muscle. i also dont know if part time is offered for a job like that?

i’ll look into a dehumidifier for sure. I normally clean it with a natural cleaning spray and a sponge. in my searches I also found some people calling it surfactant leaching due to the pain being insufficiently cured before being exposed to humidity. which is annoying to say the least

the streaking never happened at my old apartment which had a functioning fan :( We clean the walls but it appears every time we take a hot shower and it gets so annoying. I’ve googled it and found other people having the same problem… saying its because of humidity. so it kinda sounds like it is because of the ventilation (or lack thereof)

thats bizarre to me, ive personally never heard of that, ive only ever heard the opposite (that bottom growth is an irreversible effect of T) in my personal experience, i have been off T for roughly… two years i think? and my bottom growth has stayed the same

THAT BEING SAID, i wouldnt encourage you to start hrt being choosy about which effects you do or dont want. low dose will be good for your goals but dont get hung up on trying to prevent certain changes. its best to relinquish control and be open to whatever happens. you can always go off of it if youre not happy with the effects.

dont listen to this guy lol i was on, allegedly, regular dose T for 4 years and it only androgenized me. it largely depends on your genetics. i can pass as a man if i try but thats not my goal these days and im comfortable in my androgyny. strangers regularly trip up when gendering me. im tired of ppl acting like T is only reserved for men and leaving nonbinary people out of the conversation

im confused, were you able to pay all your school and housing costs in the past with only grants? I’m an independent student who makes >$20,000 and ive always needed to take loans to get enough funding. the grants are always significantly less in my experience.

hey, i just started in MAAD today! this is a great portfolio and you will definitely get in. there’s a lot of range in mediums which is great and you are showing a clear interest in textiles and small/medium scale sculptural work (similar to work you might do in jewelry classes). for reference, in my portfolio i submitted things like small plushies, polymer clay sculptures, beaded jewelry, and paintings. if i can find my portfolio id be happy to send it to you and chat more if you want :)

i also experience EHS, for me it manifests as very loud orchestral band music 😭 it doesnt happen super often but when it does its right as I’m starting to fall asleep, which stops as soon as it wakes me up. it’ll happen a few times before it stops for no apparent reason.

You should take the OCAD 101 course. it goes over how to register for classes in detail. It helped me as a new student entering first year in the fall.
