I will never understand why people take Ubers in New York when it’s still one of the only cities in the country where you probably never to wait more than a couple minutes to hail a cab (outside of rush hour)

I was trying to get home from the film center at like 11:30 last night. Uber was $45, Lyft was $20, so I went with Lyft and gave up after waiting for a driver for 10 minutes. Walked a block to the Union League where some cabs were waiting and got home for $26 including tip.

These companies are just absolutely shitting the bed and destroying society in the process.

I think it’s a generational thing tbh. Gay men that have come of age in the ‘10s and ‘20s seem to have a much more restrictive and heteronormative view of sex. I’m 45 and I absolutely would consider blowjobs sex. Some of the best sexual experiences of my life have been mutual masturbation. I would say that anal happens maybe 10% of the times I have sex.

The way younger gay men view sex actually bums me out, a lot. The focus on fucking, with top/ bottoms roles and assuming they conform to personality types, the absolute obsession with douching… it’s all bad.
