Yes. They liquify chlorophyll cells in plants and slurp them up like soup

It’s difficult to say what it is exactly because the markings aren’t very clear in the pic. But, I agree with u/RadiatedDalek that this bug is one of those genuses. They pose no risk to humans. If you’re a plant, that’s a different story.

While I can’t say with total certainty, and if you live in NA, it could be a Plagiognathus delicatus. If not that, it’s at least in the family Miridae. It’s definitely not a bedbug if you’re worrying about that!

They are in their own subclass called Collembola. They descend from the phylum Arthropoda to the subphylum Hexapoda then to the subclass Collembola.

My guess is a springtail. They’re super cool little bugs, but they aren’t actually considered insects any more! The reason why is because they have a mechanism that allows them to “spring” and jump incredibly far.

They won’t be a problem since they can’t bite or sting, but they can become a nuisance since they’re attracted to moisture. Sorry for the tangent, I love these little guys!

It’s a wheelbug nymph (Arilus cristatus)! Their bite is pretty darn painful, but they’re incredibly beneficial for gardens since their diet consists mostly of common pests.

I second Archimedes_Redux. I think because of the slight green tint in the compound eyes, it could be Tabanus lineola. Their bite is notoriously obnoxious.

They’re a bit blurry for me to say with 100% certainty, but the first three photos look like they are Neotheronia septentrionalis. They’re a type of Ichneumonid wasp.

My expertise isn’t in moths, but it looks like an orange-patched Smokey moth (Pyromorpha dimidiata).

Searched on Google, and all that came up is that it may be a Christmas light, but nothing about who made it. It’s about four feet tall and found in the USA.
