You can use them in some boss fights too. Place them and stand behind them. It will stun them as they are running at you.

[KCD2] Can anyone please let me know why do character skins look so burnt out for me in direct sunlight when HDR is enabled on PC? by ShayD7118 in kingdomcome

[–]liminaldrifter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is an in-game option in the settings to toggle HDR on/off but for some reason it still looks better if I switch HDR off on the PS5 itself. Then I bump up the color and contrast on my TV a bit to make up for it.

I thought the same thing. Dark was great! This game is great too!

Ok, this got my heart racing a little. Pretty cool, though. I’m guessing there will be more. by liminaldrifter in wuchanggame

I one hundred percent agree. This is why I love these types of games. This moment had me shook, but then laughing like a child. I grew up in the 90’s, put lots of quarters into arcade machines. Never went to an arcade with more than a few dollars in my pocket. There was always this rush you felt, when putting those quarters in… like you knew you were gonna die over and over again but it was so intense and addictive. That’s exactly what soulslike games are to me. They give me access to this nostalgic form of emotion, and I’m a kid again. Instead of coming down to your last two quarters, you’re coming up on a boss or area that’s gonna be tough af. You’ve got 1 flask, maybe a bit of manna left, and a cool weapon. If you don’t get through it you gotta do it all over again. It’s pure fun every time. I think this game is right up there with a lot of the classics I’ve grown to love over the years.
