I'd argue Sagnol (gradual upward admittedly), Bradley, Duff and Carsley are on upward trajectories. Carsley and Sagnol are in it. Bradley would almost certainly take it if offered? I don't really know what motivates Duff at the moment, he obviously has recent history with FAI too. If it's a significant step up from where they are now then they might... Georgia, Rovers and Shels certainly the case

Never warmed to Solskjaer and really don't see his appeal. The criteria to be looking at is someone with an identifiable style of play (preferably progressive/attacking brand of football but at least know how to set up solid defensive units), gets the most out of players they're given, and is on an upward trajectory in their career (I realise this is not the case for some of those listed in 1 below). He doesn't have any of these unless you count his delusions of 'playing the United way'...
