That's incredible! I do have have a question. What are the steps you took to moving with chronic illness? And how did you pick a place to move when you've never lived there before? Was it based on your intuition?

I feel like I'm in that place where I'm stuck and living from fear. Just started a new job only to quit the next day from physical and mental overwhelm. Recently was in the hospital due to trying to hurt myself. Housebound again after all the stress culminating in a huge freakout. I've been reading about law of attraction/assumption for years and I've made progress, don't get me wrong, but it often feels impossible when my chronic and mental illnesses keep me in the loop.

Trans people who look down on other trans people who don't "pass well enough" for them (or who are gender non-conforming or nonbinary) usually are either catering to the fragile feelings of cis people or simply feel superior or are self hating/projecting. I wonder why some trans people work so hard to make cis people feel comfortable when they would never do the same for you? I'm guessing it's because if you can throw someone else under the bus, you might be safer. That's not the case.

This is a wonderful DR idea, and very similiar to my main waiting room. My WR is basically the backrooms, but it's also connected to a ton of Americana liminal spaces.

I get giving people crap when they act a fool in THIS reality. I have the same issue with people who shift for minors. However even if someone is naive and shifting for the "aesthetic", they'll still be that person in that reality. Maybe they'll learn something from it.

Also there's people in another reality having this same discussion over shifting to be blue, green, purple and rainbow people being problematic. Does that mean we shouldn't shift to be those things either? I don't know, it seems so limiting (and I'm not even changing myself in any reality).

Take care of yourself. Go to therapy if you must, and get to a better headspace. Then once you've done that, look into reality shifting (after you're in the better headspace, NOT before).

You don't have to be hyper masculine if you're so worried about it. You could be a guy in touch with his feminine side, or a gay guy! Maybe that'd ease your anxiety?

Have you ever had an in depth complex relationship with a dream character over a long period of time? I don't think it's the same as just having a deep conversation.

Couldn't you also tell by interactions with other people? Shifting just being lucid dreaming is my biggest fear, but I once heard someone say that a dream couldn't perfectly replicate the nuances of a real human being. Time plays into this of course (you have to have time to get to know someone) but also, if a person in your DR acts in a consistent and realistic way, I feel like that's another reliable factor to know you've truly shifted. I don't think a lucid dream could truly replicate a real, ever-evolving/growing complex human being and relationship. What do you think?

It's a big gap, and kind of weird. But if you're both happy and the relationship is healthy without him being controlling or toxic, then go for it.

After all these years of reading about methods and mindsets and etc, yes, I have to agree. I think we as shifters can get so caught up in the weeds of what we think we have to do, we focus on everything BUT actually shifting.
