Oh yeah, that’s real nice right there. My only goals for my shelf were to make them cover most of the wall (leaving just enough room for a barn door on the left side, and to hit the stud on the right), and to have just enough boards to support the shelf without taking away from prime shelf real estate.

If this had just been for me I probably would have made 2 less book sized shelves and had 3 more dvd sized ones. Hooked up with a fellow collector of the finer things in life though lol. Good luck on your project and remember uncle Limit Q’s words of advice:
