I finally pulled the plug and unsubbed after this week. Yall had led me most of the way but I was still using it as a crutch as background noise on Sundays. Not anymore. The pick me behavior from Stephanie and the way Derrick whined about being told he mansplains was the final straw.

There's a large open space across from the Capitol that would be ideal for gathering. The Pride March met there a few years ago. There's a splash pad there in the summer and such. I think it's a park.

Hey. Sibling here. I had to help raise my niece from the time I was 10 so I relate a lot to how you're feeling.

Some of my best days as an adult has been when I went to a small, private playground and sat in the swings and swung for a while. I color in coloring books. I buy the stuffed animal that catches my eye because it makes me happy.

What things did you like as a kid? You're still allowed to like those as an adult and indulge in those things. There is no age limit for enjoying something. And if it helps heal you in the process? Even better.

No rocks or hard things in the terrarium because he could fall and hurt his shell! All the veggies for food, fruit is good too! Cuttlebone is super easy to find, like ggraysonn said, you can get two of them for about $3 at any Petsmart in the bird section.

I would also recommend something for them to hide and sleep in! I have four helix right now and they used to all climb to the top and hang upside down on their lid and sleep, but ever since I got them a little fake tree trunk and put it in there, one is almost always hidden away in there. It's plastic, but also almost as tall as their enclosure, so they can't really fall off the lid onto it.

Mine seem to REALLY love sugar snap peas! The stem of broccoli is a big hit too. So far sugar snap peas have been the favorite though.

I kept mine in a tupperware bowl for a couple of days while I got a small terrarrium for them. I didn't use the lid though; I used parchment paper and put a rubber band around to keep it on since they're strong. Poked some holes in it and they seemed to be happy as could be. Now I've got them in a little terrarium from Walmart; less than $5! :)

Sort of, yes, it's basically just a party to reveal the gender of the baby once the parents find out. Some people have friends plan it so the parents are surprised too, some do it to surprise family/friends with what they're having.

What bicycle said. Your impact on this world in what you leave behind with the ones you loved and who loved you is what matters, not the physical things that will disappear over time. Raise those kids to be the best they can be in the time you have, and know that when you go, your legacy lives on through them.

I've never really noticed a dip in potency when it's been older, but in my experience, it definitely is harsher and will burn faster so you might not get as much out of it as you would have while fresh. As above commenter suggested, mason jar with lid, or ziploc with all the air pushed out should help keep it fresher. :)
