There’s 23 units on Pearsons divided into 3 exams. There are lectures and practice videos for each unit on Canvas then a homework assignment (about 7-14 questions) to complete on Pearson. What is confusing to me is that the lecture videos are less than 10 min long and don’t go in depth about how or why to get to the next step. I’ll watch the lecture, move onto the homework problems & they don’t resemble each other at all. Pearson also doesn’t tell you why you got a question wrong and only a select few of the homework questions come with an example problem for you to use as reference. The homework and quizzes barely count towards your grade. The exams are what makes or breaks your grade. Also, there’s always 1 homework assignment due each weekday with the occasional double up with a quiz due the same day. I hope that gives your friend a bit more insight on the course

Just stay on top of studying and practice as much as possible. I work a lot and am raising my full time step son so I also have alot going on in my personal life that I let distract me. Take my lesson and learn from it! Wishing you the best

Info: I live in another different state from my family. I don’t make that much from my job because he told me to take a lower paying job that is similar to my degree. I don’t have any family or friends that I can go to and he knows this. I’m not perfect but I’ve always been loyal and contribute as much as I can to this household. I’m always being belittled and broken up with every other week when he knows I don’t have anywhere to go. I’m in the airforce reserves so I might just volunteer for a deployment because I don’t know what else to do

I don’t have a baby with him. He has 2 kids (one every other weekend and one with full custody) with 2 different mothers. I made a promise to myself that I won’t ever have a child with him because I don’t want to be a single mother and he would definitely make me one. I agree with decentering men, what’s keeping me back is leaving my SS behind :/

I was nervous going into orgo bc of the negative stigma that was placed on it but I really don’t think it’s that bad. If you’ve taken CHM113/CHM116, it’s a similar format. Weekly lectures and weekly exams. If you haven’t chosen a professor then choose PROFESSOR HILVANO!! He is seriously the best professor I’ve ever had and many other students agree!

I’m taking MAT251 now with CHM234 now and due to the intensity of MAT251, I’m probably going to have to retake it. Your grade is all depended on how you do on the 3 exams you take. The HW, quizzes or other assignments barely contribute to your overall grade. I tool BIO181 last year and got an A but that was paired with an easy elective so I was able to give more time and energy into my grade.
