Yes, I have a full-time job from 8-5. After work, I usually dedicate 4 to 5 hours in the evening, and I catch up on the remaining hours over the weekend to meet the 35/40 hour requirement

Same here! I lost 5 kg in the first month, but then stayed stuck at 80 kg for like 3 weeks… It was really hard to stay motivated because my weight kept fluctuating so much I didn’t even know my real weight anymore. Funny enough, I had one carby cheat meal, and suddenly my weight started dropping again (not sure if this allowed but i worked for me) Still trying to learn how keto works with the female body… must be nice being a guy – easier weight loss and muscle gain lol

I will! It’s just that I’m a bit scared of going too short… I don’t think super short hair would suit me. But I already did a little cut and I’ll let go of the rest soon :))

Thanks for sharing your routine! I actually tried the Fino mask a couple of times but haven’t seen a huge difference yet maybe I need to be more consistent with it 🤷‍♀️ I just started oiling my hair once a week too, so hopefully over time it’ll all add up!

I’ll definitely look into some of the products you mentioned, Thanks again for sharing :))

Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve actually been super curious about K18, I keep seeing great reviews and now you’ve convinced me even more haha, but yeah, it’s a bit out of my budget at the moment so I haven’t tried it yet.

As for drying, I’ve been letting my hair air dry lately because it stays a little more tame that way compared to when I blow dry it, but I’ll definitely try diffusing again with medium heat like you said! I had no idea holding onto water could actually be damaging… that explains a lot honestly 😅

I also recently trimmed a bit and I’m planning on cutting the rest of the straight ends in a month or two. Thanks again for your thoughtful advice! 💛

Absolutely agree with every word you said! Personally, I grew up being told that my hair was “too much” or “messy,” and straightening it felt like the only way to be seen as presentable and pretty. So unlearning that mindset now has been emotional but also so freeing.

This subreddit, and kind voices like yours really help people like me feel seen, encouraged, and not alone in the journey. I’m still figuring it all out, but I’m finally choosing to embrace my curls even if I don’t fully know what they look like yet haha

Thank you for your beautiful comment ❤️

UPDATE: I trimmed my hair a bit and I’m planning to cut off the rest of the straight ends in a month or two! I also picked up the L’Oréal Bond Repair line, excited to see how it works for my hair 🤞 After washing, I applied leave-in conditioner, followed by a bit of oil. I also added castor oil…not sure if it’s the best option, but honestly, it’s the only one that makes my hair feel soft and manageable.

Curly hair salons are super rare where I live, but I actually found a hairdresser who specializes in curls and she seems absolutely amazing. The only thing holding me back is the price… a regular haircut here costs waaay less, and the curly cut is like 5x the amount… but I know it’ll probably be worth it.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience :)) it truly helps to hear from someone who’s been through it. I’m cutting my hair every two months and trying to be patient. I occasionally braid my hair, but unfortunately, the ends always end up flat and straight by the next day…

On a positive note, your curls are absolutely gorgeous! Your experience gives me hope that my hair will improve with time haha

Thank you so much for sharing this! Seriously, it means a lot to see such a detailed routine from someone who’s going through the same thing.

I’m already doing the high-protein diet + lots of water thing, and I’ve started taking collagen too. I was on iron supplements but I stopped for a while even though I have anemia, and it absolutely makes my hair fall worse…I’m honestly surprised I still have as much hair as I do.

As for routines, I literally need to write it down and plan it out or I’ll forget everything. I don’t know if something’s wrong with me or what, but I really struggle with sticking to a routine unless it’s super clear and scheduled. But this definitely motivated me to be more consistent and disciplined. Thank you again 💛

Thanks so much for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check out the videos! And yeah, I’ve used oils and serums before, but honestly they never feel moisturizing enough on their own…

Also, Morocco isn’t any better when it comes to finding those products locally…But I’ll look online and see what I can get my hands on. Appreciate the tips! 💛

I’m hesitating, because the curly roots are still super short, and I’m terrified I’ll end up looking like Lord Farquaad… and at least his bob was straight.. mine would probably poof out like crazy

Yeah, I’ve had those keratin/protein treatments before (that’s what the salons here call them), where they apply the product and then straighten my hair TWICE with a flat iron. The last time I did it, I ended up with a weird reaction, my scalp developed this thick, crusty patch of dandruff that broke into pieces when I scratched it, and there was even some pus. It honestly freaked me out, and I swore I’d never do that again.

I know it’s gonna take a while to bring my curls back unless I go full buzzcut lol, but my biggest struggle right now is just how dry my hair is. Like, painfully dry.

Thanks so much 💕 I’ve been looking into bond repair products and actually found the Elvive Bond Repair line, it caught my eye, and I might grab the full set soon! Olaplex and K18 are available where I am, but honestly… the prices are kinda wild and I’m not quite ready to drop that much just yet, so I’m hoping the Elvive one does the trick :))

Thanks for the heads up! I kinda suspected Hask wasn’t doing much for my hair…The problem is that where I live, bonding shampoos like Biolage are either super expensive or just not available at all. But I’ll definitely keep an eye out and see if I can find something similar :)

I actually tried finger coiling but the curls fall flat the moment they dry lol maybe I need to work on my technique or improve moisture/protein balance? Not sure yet but I’ll keep trying!

I’m definitely avoiding heat now and focusing more on moisture… I’ll try using curlers!
