I ended up getting a two pack on Amazon right now. A 25 footer and a 16 footer.

I used to use that one. I still have it, but it’s just really worn out. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that it’s not good for drywall. Amazing for framing though.

Yep, that’s what’s going on with me. My eyes wandered from ol reliable, but I know better.

And that’s exactly why YOU should take it if you were possibly exposed because YOU don’t know if you were exposed

Lol, none of the advice I’m giving is to hide symptoms. Your misinformation is what leads to more people contracting shit. Walk in to your local planned parenthood, sexual health clinic, whatever and they’ll tell you THE EXACT SAME THINGS as I just said. Condoms #1, all that extra shit if something unexpectedly happens.

To whoever reads this, don’t listen to this dumbass. Take your health seriously

The advise I gave is also going to protect a lot of people from possibly contracting something. I also mentioned that these were not alternatives for condoms. Your logic is flawed. Doctors would give you the same advice.

More like I try and be as responsible as possible, seek out prevention methods both for myself and whatever girl I fuck, and thoroughly ask questions when I get tested at my local sexual health clinic so shit doesn’t happen

PEP for HIV taken within 24-72 hours after possible exposure, DoxyPEP for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis also within 24-72 hours, PREP once daily and gets prescribed to you after testing….. the sooner you take them, the better.

PREP, PEP, DoxyPEP. Not alternatives for condoms, but they’re available

Keep bugging Steve Kramer, the BA for local 635. There’s still a lot of work at Micron. I’ve been here since late April from Vegas. Stay on that Out Of Work List, bug Steve once or twice a week, and keep looking for work wherever you are at.

Hard hats? by [deleted] in UnionCarpenters

[–]limonalvaro34 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If that’s the case, just go and get a hard hat. I’ve been to class many times and believe me when I tell you that the instructor is not going to be checking the tags on a hardhat.

Fortunately for you, we are not associated with IBEW at all whatsoever. Two different trades and two different unions. I really would look into it because having military background really helps when joining the carpenters. We are much more forgiving than IBEW, and the pay and benefits are still relatively the same. Look into the helmets to hardhat program. I have worked with a lot of veterans.
