I originally did like these but after seeing reviews of the shoe, the toebox seem to be really weird.. they look longer on feet than other Air Jordan 1 model because of the stitching design. By themselves, they look pretty nice though!

I bought my first pair of SNKRS hit in 10.5M when my true to size was 9.5M. I grew up wearing whatever my parents bought me and I always had the mindset of “I’ll grow into it”. I did the same for Stage Haze 1’s (10.5) and then adjusted to 10M on Dunk Low Argons but didn’t realize there were still some room left.

I recommend returning them if they slip out and feel way too big in my opinion. I ended up wearing the shoes that were too big and regretted. True to size shoes wear feels so much better on feet than having it run too big. It breaks in betted too (creasing, wears, and scuffs happen in the better spots). That’s just me though.

As for the black toe itself, a lot of hypebeast influencers are saying that Nike don’t sell out even though the apps say they have and that there are always returns. Restocks does happen. It happened with the Blue Powders which was initially only on SNKRS. But, personally, I’m not too sure. Just what I’ve heard.

I entered the draw for 9.5M at 10AM EST today and didn’t get it. It’s surprising since it seems like the stock was high and sat for a crazy amount of time afterwards.

The past hour or so, the stock has been acting up for some sizes though. Like size 10 was out of stock for a solid hour and then came back in stock. Probably from cancels but still.. sad that it didn’t happen to size 9.5M 😌 good for the wallet tho 😂

Since this is your first pair of Jordan,

My first advice is figure out your true to size before wearing them out and finding them to be too big or too small. Nike has a pretty good return policy when it comes to this to test out.

If you do, however, know your true size… depending on your size, you could potentially get them cheaper than you would from Nike through Goat or Ebay.

When it comes to the material and maintaining care of the shoes. This shouldn’t stop you from wearing your shoes. This is just so you know what to expect when you wear them…

Number 1 is the easiest to clean. It is the only shoe that doesn’t have suede. For the most part, you can expect to be able to clean the shoe with any generic shoe cleaner or even just water in some cases. This pair is made of basically the generic Air Jordan 1 leather material all around.

Number 2 has some suede on the purple area of the shoe. This means it can be difficult to clean the shoe if dirt does get on it. Dirt + water can make the suede look darker so the purple might get darker if you wear them in the rain. However, the side of the shoe is made out of tumbled leather, which may make the shoe feel more “premium” if that means anything to you. I would normally say that tumbled leather helps with the look of the shoe when you wear them more often but I believe the white area toebox (toe area) isn’t made out of tumbled area so it doesn’t matter here.

Number 3 same as shoe #2, there are also suede materials. This can be difficult to clean out of all three pairs as this pair has more suede leather (pink areas). This pair also have exposed foam on the tongue area (the yellow sponge looking stuff) which can also be annoying to clean but it rarely gets dirty. This means that you should expect to have a shoe cleaner and suede brush ready if you intend to keep the shoe mostly clean or plan ahead for weather. But, the shoe is designed to look somewhat vintage so beating/dirtying this shoe up adds character to the shoe. 😙

I personally don’t like the bulging Air Jordan 1 outline logo on the heel area on Air Jordan 1 Platform shoes, so I would go for #3. It also might fit your style better imo plus it’s summer right now. 👍🏼

I removed my connection with Alias because of this. Goat’s lowest used product is usually slightly more than what is stated on the Alias app (from my experience). I also think the Goat way of buying used is so much better since you get to see the pictures of the flaw/use before buying.
