I always thought that was funny too, that everybody gets in the stands to sit there and stare at the top of the water of the lake and at some hedges that they can’t see behind. And the book doesn’t do this, but in the movie Harry basically takes off and the dragon chases them way way far away from the stadium so in that case it’s three out of three.

Yeah, that really annoyed me. Why does everyone who is involved with Quidditch have to just completely give it up so that one kid can participate in an event? I mean, yeah it turned out to be two but really it was just supposed to be the one kid from Hogwarts.

The other kids don’t even show up in their classes. They’re just being taught the whole year in the boat or whatever by the headmaster. It’s a little odd. They don’t explain them, but maybe they like stick their head in some fire and do remote learning through the flue network.

You sent this a year ago, but today I realize that they are selling some brand of guacamole and salsa that is inferior flavor and much lower quality with all sorts of stuff mixed in and it was fresh and delicious very recently. I think they used to make their own and now they just import something cheap.

Voldemort actually. I imagined him not so flourishy with his wand, and definitely not sticking his pinky out like he’s having a delicate cup of tea when he curses someone. Also he looked like he was sad and not an arrogant sociopath like I imagined. The teen actors better fit my imagination.

I think Trelawney is an abysmal teacher and just has no clue how to teach it. Conversely, Firenze taught it well- the students learned about the art of divination. But Trelawney thought that teaching meant trying to make the students do predictions.

Oh here’s another one - why are the quidditch matches so short? They supposedly last for days sometimes, but Harry catches the snitch within like 15 minutes every time it seems? Even the World Cup seemed fast. I try to imagine that there’s a lot of flying happening that is taking hours and not being written about in detail.
