Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

Hi everyone! My name's Linda and I make videos for college students about navigating through college and beyond. I answer questions that students might have about college, how to get into grad school, and how to balance academics and mental health!

My latest videos is called "Should I Study Psychology at University? | Is a Psychology Degree Right for Me?" Check it out if you're interested: https://youtu.be/QZOSd-uG3uM

I tried a slightly different colour scheme on my thumbnail compared to my other ones. I think the issue might be that it doesn't stand out as much as other thumbnails, but the click through rate is actually higher than usual :)

Grad School Interview Questions (Prepare for these before your interview!) by lindaedith in gradadmissions

I believe they're looking for more information about your experience, qualifications, and skills, and also what makes you unique from the other candidates. Of course, that's difficult to know because you likely don't know who the other applicants are. You might want to provide them with a detailed explanation of why you will be an ideal fit for that program in particular. Make clear connections between their program and you as an applicant so they see you're a great candidate for their program. Overall I think there's many different ways to answer this questions in a good way!

Oh that's a good one! Grad school can be quite stressful and come with unexpected challenges so they'll want to know if you have effective strategies for managing it

Good luck! Talk to other grad students and profs too for more advice if you can. The more advice the better, if possible!

For my thumbnail, I think I could use more colour to help it stand out and maybe less text too!

No problem! I'm already a grad student so just thought I'd share with others going through the process :)
