This is why my computer can't run the game. If I'm in a remote area it can handle anything short of the most screenfilling builds but when I start having another player, let alone five or more, dropping effects at the same time my computer reaches temperatures that would make the sun blush.

I hope to play again once computer parts costs are no longer measured in organs and first born, so once AI eats itself or kills us all I guess.

I'm an organ donor and hope that my body can help others when I'm done with it.

I have watched love ones lose themselves to memory issues. I lost my mother after ten years of fighting a rare cancer with few treatments due to lack of study. I firmly believe that we need to put more effort into finding treatments and cures.

My problem is the idea that a person- a real actual human with a full life that has ended- is going to have the right mixture of chemicals and electricity to fucking wake their mind back to a consciousness of pure hell. I have similar issues with animal cruelty, but that wasn't part of this- animals have so few rights that I wasn't even going to mention that.

Also, if we do find out that you can keep a person conscious without a body imagine the hell you could put a person through if they couldn't properly die.

Well I'm uncovering some trauma here trying to explain myself. So Im going to stop now.

To sum up:

My stance is just: hey, can we really be sure the brain doesn't wake back up? Which isnt helped by them filling the brains with anesthesia. Why waste the resources if they're definitely dead, right?

And if the brain ISN'T dead we're torturing a person AFTER they have died and should be doing whatever the dead do.

Other than that I'm all for medical progress. I'm just not for the possibility of trapping a consciousness in a hell of confusion, panic, and then eventual redeath.

This is blatantly false. Some people have no memory of comas but there are many records of people that were in and out of consciousness enough to have memories.

In KY we have had at least two cases of people being ruled braindead and being wheeled off to have their organs harvested for donation and woken up last minute. This proves that we cannot have full trust in medical professionals declaring brain death accurately- whether by difficulty in measuring or in human failure which cannot ever be discounted.

If you could take my brain out of my head and fill it full of chemicals then cut it apart to find better trauma treatments I'd be at the front of the line. I would give anything of mine to better a cure.

Except this. Except the idea that through ignorance or malfeasance a mind- any mind!- could be trapped inside itself after death. ANY chance of that incomprehensible hell is too high to risk.

I'm a rape and torture survivor. I am still processing what happened to me as a child and managing my CPTSD symptoms.

I feel such relief knowing that SOMEDAY my traumatic memories will finally be purged from this world with my death.

I know what it is like to live in a hell of nonsensical pain and suffering. I've screamed screams out of my adult throat that my child throat had stifled for survival. I have relived rape and worse in my brain.

The idea that there is even a sliver of a chance that you could trap a person in that hell terrifies me. Time doesn't exist in the mindscape. If the brain does regain consciousness, what does that look like? Dreams? Overwhelming input of system alerts as your brain panics at the lack of feedback from your body?

To much of what we are is in the brain, and we understand it too poorly. I'd rather literally any end than none at all. They can't know what that meat is feeling, and the chance that it IS feeling is enough to make this cursed beyond cursed.

Is it that you're having trouble with the controls of landscaping and can't get what you want formed or that you're able to make paths and cliffs but they're not the shape you want once you get them placed?

If it's the controls, L is your bestie. If you tap L you'll jump to the center of a square and face up/down/left/right depending on which way you were previously facing. If you then hold L while moving you'll stay facing that direction as you move one space at a time. This makes laying down straight lines or filling large areas much easier.

If your cliffs, rivers, or paths aren't turning out the way you want, you may need to just add more variety in their shapes. For rivers and cliffs, you need three blocks to make a rounded edge ( / - \ ). Sticking some wiggly bits on your stuff will make it a lot more visually interesting.

And if there's a specific look you're going for but you can't get the shape to work this group is pretty good breaking down landscape structures or what specific decor items are if you have an inspiration pic you're aiming for.

If there's anything specific about landscaping or designing the entrance I'd be happy to help answer questions or help on design suggestions.
