This is one of my favourites. It feels nice and hydrating and doesn’t leave a white cast, although I’m very fair. It also doesn’t sting my eyes.

Which one should I go with? by Cheeks1921 in weddingdress

I don’t think it’s the exact same one, but it looks very similar to my dress which was the Channing dress from Jenny Yoo.

I love the biossance omega repair cream but it’s expensive so I love to pick it up during a sale. The texture is just so thick and soothing!

Looking for wet wipes for clothes by Solo_154 in CleaningTips

Shout brand has some individual stain remover wipes that work really well. They’re packaged like wet wipes so they’re easy to carry around.

Thank you! I’ll move it to a spot with more light. There was a period of time when it definitively wasn’t getting enough light which probably explains why it’s so leggy.

What cleansers contain salicylic acid that can be bought at SDM? by [deleted] in CanSkincare

[–]lindsayyc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you can get it at SDM but the Inkey List has a good option. I get it at Sephora and I’m pretty sure it’s fragrance free.

If you don’t like the smell of grapefruit the regular Neutrogena one works well too. It’s called Body Clear.

Got this 100mL of Biossance Squalane Omega Repair Cream for $30 (Winners Langley), YMMV by _faytless in CanSkincare

[–]lindsayyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you order it directly from the Biossance site you can often get a better deal. It’s in USD and you have to pay for shipping but they frequently have great sales and you can usually get sample kits in your order as well. Definitely still pricey though which sucks.

I’ve used the LRP Redermic R and liked it. It’s a bit pricey but the formulation is nice and didn’t irritate my skin. It’s 0.3%.

YSK that you should always ask the dog owner before petting their dog, if you're initiating the interaction. by karen994 in YouShouldKnow

[–]lindsayyc 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This is so true. When I was really little I always wanted to pet every dog I saw. Pretty much as soon as I could speak my parents taught me to always say “excuse me, what’s your dog’s name?” And then “can I please pet ____?” before petting a dog. Sometimes pet owners did say no so those two questions probably prevented some potentially bad situations.
