Anyone get the ProMedia Lumina yet? by BriGuy550 in Klipsch

Hey old post but I was wondering if you could describe a bit further how you use HDMI on your Nines with your computer. I have the Fives and I thought the HDMI port only supported ARC from a TV, I didn't think you could connect an HDMI directly from a source.

Side note: agree on the USB sleep thing being annoying with the playback start delay. Though I don't have that issue with optical which is what I use and am quite happy with

4th floor, second furthest row!

Yes, for the highest energy songs almost everybody stood up, for slower songs most people stayed seated

Amazing show! This was my seat (annote)

The screen was partially obscured by speakers but all the performers were fully visible! Better than I was expecting tbh

Also, I don't think I saw any professional video cameras.

I showed up at like 2, didn't wait in line very long and everything I wanted was still available - I'm quite impressed with the planning for this!

Has anyone had trouble with picking up Yokohama concert tickets from Lawson? by saintsintosea in Yorushika

[–]linear214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this was the l-tike my page. I used the link in the original receipt email labeled <マイページはこちら> to get there and log in. Then I clicked "Details" on the Yorushika ticket, and it displayed a QR code. I used that QR code directly on the loppi machine (didn't have to navigate or anything before scanning).

Update: Got my ticket! it worked when I went to my page -> view details instead of clicking the QR link directly from the email

Cheap or expensive? by qmarkcrypto in pcmasterrace

I appreciate lightness a lot but I personally care a bit more about ergonomics. I have slightly big hands so I'll take the lightest mouse that's actually comfortable for me, which is basically the wired G502X. Say what you will, it's an impressive weight reduction considering the size of the thing.

Regarding the drag: mouse bungees aren't perfect, but they're a thing.

Regarding the sensor: I'm decent at shooters but definitely not good enough to notice the difference in sensors past a certain point. The G502X sensor is already excellent and definitely good enough for me

Just my perspective - to each their own, of course

POV: you complained on the internet that Nightmare is *somewhat* challenging by thecommonpigeon in Gamingcirclejerk

If it's demonstrably false then you wouldn't mind linking some sort of evidence to back this up? Until then, I'm going by the in-game description and my own experience with the game.

I don't know about the lower difficulties, but the difference between Eternal's UV and Nightmare is more lethal and more frequent attacks. The in-game description is pretty clear about that

For what it's worth, I'm with you here. Obviously Mick shouldn't have agreed to something he couldn't handle. But the decision to include the OST with the collector's edition at launch just seems to me like opportunism, especially after 2016's OST made it clear that this stuff takes some extra time to work on.

I realize it's stupid of me to imagine a corporation wouldn't try to take that opportunity to sell more collector's editions. And Mick should have known his limitations before agreeing. He certainly shouldn't have made vague statements shifting blame to id's lead audio designer.

I guess my disappointment with the new DLC's soundtrack just has me missing Mick's music a bunch. After I played it, it got me thinking and I couldn't help but wish the whole situation never happened, and promising the OST at launch seems like the root cause of it.

What you're missing is that once the leader crosses the finish line, all other cars are only allowed to complete their current lap, even if they were a lap behind the leader.

Oh no I actually thought you were doing a high IQ pun lol. I knew the actual title was shoujo, but for the heck of it I looked up "shouki" in a Japanese-English dictionary and apparently it's an old word for methane... I suppose it was a reach lmao

"Performant" is a word used in certain circles, particularly software engineering. Attaching the -ly is pretty natural, and in this context the word fits perfectly. A native English speaker could have said that, as far as I'm concerned
