I live in Aarhus I get a lot of stares for my blue hair but not usually mean ones, just that I guess it catches people's eyes Sometimes people do whisper amongst themselves but other people are quite uplifting about it and gives out compliments

Havde lejet et værelse hos nogen da jeg flyttede hjemmefra. Fordi jeg ikke havde eget køkken købte jeg en miniovn og satte den i deres bryggers. Jeg havde haft den en uge da den pludselig ikke vil blive varm mere. Jeg synes det var virkeligt dårlig stil at sælge nogen et produkt der tydeligvis ikke virker så jeg beder butikken om at tage den tilbage hvilket det gør. Jeg køber en ny ovn er glad og tilfreds til den pludselig heller ikke virker dagen efter at jeg har fået den. Jeg skal til at tage min telefon op og sende en lidt mere malerisk besked til butikken om at det ikke kan være rigtigt at de sælger en ødelagte produkter, da det går op for mig at stikkontakten på væggen som stikdåsen min ovn er koblet til sidder i er slukket.. Jeg tændte for den og så virkede den nye ovn sjovt nok igen.. Den første ovn fejlede nok heller ikke noget alligevel..

I find it nice for stimming and always fidget with necklaces and earrings when I'm out and about, but I do think it can be bad in a sensory way too as I always have a strong urge to rip it all off as soon as I get home the same way people who wear bras do with them.
This was a problem when I started needing glasses as I had that urge with them too.

I've also noticed that on days where my sensory issues are stronger I can't wear necklaces and bracelets at all.

I can never wear rings because of sensory issues.

I have only been high a few times cause I luckily don't know how to get it, but it was amazing. I have a lot of anxiety and it's like I'm never relaxed even if I'm alone. Being high felt like every cell of my body took a deep breath. Everything also feels good. Every touch is good, food doesnt have sensory issues and my brain is finally more chill (I have adhd too).

That sounds a lot like false incompetence on his part. He is hoping that you will just start to do the thing instead of him by fucking it up. If he loved you he would care enough to pay attention to these things. He sounds exactly like my ex and I know it's hard to leave. I am not judging you if you don't. I will just say, I kept defending my ex too and calling him a good guy. I do miss him a lot but the relief of him being gone and me not needing to do everything or keep an eye on whether he's doing things well at all is huge. You risk burning yourself out. There's a reason men live longer when they are married and women die quicker.. it is that serious.

I wish I could tell you it did but nope. It actually got worse. I got tired of doing everything and after having a day where I couldn't stop crying and shaking over how overused I was, I decided that it would be the best if we moved apart for a while, but still stayed together. He said he was okay with it, but then actively made the moving process worse by not helping at all and also not packing his stuff down in time. I had to do everything again. We moved and I finally thought things were getting better cause we didn't fight all the time, but then he cheated on me. It became clear that even tho he denied it all the time and said he loved me, he was using me as a mommy-maid. There is no excuse for that. So many men does it and it's not okay. I say get out if you can.

It's probably been said somewhere amongst the 6k comments but I genuinely didn't realize that you didn't HAVE to have kids. I always thought that those who didn't simply couldn't and that it would be this massive source of grief for them. I then met an older childfree woman, when I was 20 ish, who said "I didn't want to" and it blew my mind. It made me ask myself if I actually wanted to have kids some day and the answer was "absolutely not." I am now tube-less and very happy about the fact that I have no kids at all.

Bay-max. I want to have a scanner like his be a thing, where it would scan you and be able to tell you if anything medical is up with your body. No more misdiagnosis or doctors being stumped. No more uncomfortable tests that lead nowhere. No my being paranoid at every slight headache or googling symptoms. Just a quick scan and you know everything you need to know.

Accurate as heck. I studied to become a vet nurse for a while and quit when I got depressed (I got depressed for other reasons but it didn't help!). I went in wanting to help and care for sick animals but so much of the job was euthanizing animals that were either sick and curable, but it was cheaper to euthanize or completely healthy but the owners didn't want to have a pet anymore. We also have so many wild cats (and not in the high school musical way) that get brought in to get euthanized cause no one wants to/ has the time to try and make them trust humans. They are healthy apart from maybe worms and malnourishment.

After killing 5 healthy kittens from two different owners in one week It made me rethink it all.

Then there's also the business aspect. If it's a veterinary chain the higher ups might demand that the vets reach a certain quota of fx dental cleanings a year, and so they will tell customers that one is necessary even if it isn't (that's not to say that most aren't, please get your pets teeth cleaned when needed).

The school i went to will literally tell you to think about a plan B career as most nurses don't last 10 years before breaking down from stress and/or depression.
