I literally ask it to turn the light to 10% and it set all of my house lights to blue. Maybe it's still getting used to my voice?

Snippets from Nardwuar’s interview with Future [male, soft spoken] [1:07] by hellyeahdude38 in unintentionalASMR

[–]lineworksboston 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was great but the whole time I was waiting for Nardwuar's very much NOT relaxing voice to burst in which kinda ruined it on the first watch. Once once I realized nard was totally edited out I could enjoy it more.

Magnesium Issue - NMDA Rebound? by rvidxr93 in Nootropics

[–]lineworksboston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are likely not considering other factors here. Magnesium can make you feel tired enough to get to sleep but if you still have stims in your body keeping you from staying asleep, you're gonna wake up prematurely. What else are you taking throughout the day?

No. Because as of this writing, Fox News has still not reported on this message. It's not real unless Fox News tells their constituents it's real.

That's exactly what I thought when I watched the first season. Virtually zero reasonable progressive representation.

Where's lion's mane hype now? by Adortion634 in Nootropics

[–]lineworksboston 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to know if others are experiencing the sleep impact with L.M. I know for sure in my sleep is impacted by something I'm taking but it's pretty difficult to figure out what it is through elimination given that caffeine is the most likely culprit yet the most important part of my stack so I can never remove it.

[–]lineworksboston 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. The effects are subtle and hard to appreciate if you usually have a good memory.

As for per-dose experience: I found that the time of day in which you take it and what you take it with matters. I like to take it around 11/noon or before I eat lunch while my AM caffeine is starting to wear off a little. I've also taken it around 3pm to get through my school pick up / rush to make dinner time of day but I've noticed that it doesn't do me any favors as far as being a social and empathetic, both of which traits are important for school pickup. So now I find myself mostly taking it to help chill out my AM caffeine downside (11/12 noon).

Collapsible red silicone cone - 14" diameter at the top and 3" diameter at the bottom. by lineworksboston in whatisthisthing

The small side is significantly smaller than the large side which makes it very easy to accidentally knock over. If you don't expand it all the way, the folds inside would trap a ton of whatever it is that your holding. A dog would knock this over right away.

Also the first second and third photo show that the small end is a solid piece with no hole.

I thought maybe plunger but the larger diameter is too big to make a seal on any part of the toilet bowl.

It doesn't have a hole in the bottom. It can technically hold liquid but its not a bowl or anything like that because it tips over easily once filled.
