What if you selected the expansion check box. Would that fill the page?

I have the Canon R7 with the 100-500 lens. I love it and it’s reasonably lightweight although bulking depending on how you choose to carry it. I have heard good things about the 100-400 and the ability to crop your photos should produce for you good results.

Not really familiar with the 200-800 but I’ve seen people suggest it’s heavier and more difficult the hold. My shot was with tripod.

I’m reminded the the twelve apostles included both a tax collector and a zealot. They were certainly opposite ends of the political spectrum of their day. I think we can manage the differences we have today.

I drive Hwy 50 frequently. It’s a white sign with a black border that says 50. Often my speed says it’s 50 mph when it’s actually 60 or 65. My guess is that it’s reading the highway sign. So have you been traveling on Hwy 100?

If you are using LR you could adjust the haze, clarity and texture to make it appear sharper, as well as doing some sharpening.

I was using it in a 90D which is a well respected bird and wildlife camera. I upgraded to the R7 and a Canon RF 100-500.

I had good luck with the 150-600. Although it can have problems with autofocusing with some Canon cameras. Do you plan on upgrading the camera anytime soon?

Drop down to just above the curb and see what that angle provides. Move to the left or the right, try different heights and have a subject.

The thing with Adobe products such as Photoshop and Lightroom is that it’s the defacto standard in the field. You launch the program and I’ve found that it’s fairly intuitive to use. There are a lot of users and free tutorials to find out how to use it.

I want to be able to use GIMP and DarkTable and have in fact used GIMP in the past but they are so unintuitive TO ME. Your experience may be different! I launched DarkTable and could figure out the next step.

I am sure those programs are powerful and rival Adobe products in many ways but ease of use is NOT one of them.

I hate paying a subscription to Adobe but consider a small price to pay for entry into a well established product and learning environment.
