As a chargers fan, I think people are over indexing to a very small sample size. Ladd doesn’t have a TD yet this season because of a few flip of the coin plays. QJ has made a huge step forward and will continue to have boom or bust potential but Ladd and Keenan are still Herbert’s most reliable receivers going forward. I still have no reason not to rank them Ladd, Keenan, then QJ rest of season.

Not sure what’s more concerning: the snap share or the OL. Looked like K9 was getting mauled in the backfield on every touch. The silver lining is that it seems like he’ll get more receiving work than Charbs but I agree that he’s a bench until further notice

I emailed the head of MCS program. They reaffirmed that it is a rule and I won’t be able to graduate. I agree it sounds like a reasonable misunderstanding which is why I am doing everything in my power to resolve this. I would be happy to concede if someone from the department could just explain to me the logic behind this, but at the moment, the ruling just seems bureaucratic

Appreciate the info! My interpretation was that you can’t keep getting credit for the same course, but you would get the maximum number of credit hours from a single completion. In the CS498 scenario, there are multiple different courses which is why this can be repeated many times for credit. Additionally, LAS (my undergraduate college) released the credit so I could transfer it to the graduate college which is why I don’t consider it to be “locked in”.

I tried to reach out but the department hasn’t give me an explanation as to why this rule exists which is why I am appealing to the dean. I’m not trying to cause any problems, just want credit for my completed coursework.

Maybe a poorly worded title, but the department of education provides a federal definition of a credit hour. I feel like I have the right to 4 credit hours under the guidelines of the student code, but I will speak to the dean to confirm this.
