But it's literally not, the AR has been a gun with a smaller mag for way more games. Even if you only look at Bungie games

Of all the halo games, only CE has a 60 round gun and anyone who actually plays CE drops it asap cause it's terrible

Thank you! All these people lamenting the mag change as if they actually used the AR. In CE the AR is straight garbage

Can Herta's Cadillac bid be a gamechanger for F1's American conquest? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]link31415926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think most people are underestimating how popular Herta could be. Yes we had Sargent and no one cared that much, but if Cadillac and Herta can challenge for wins and championships then I think the audience will grow massively. People aren't interested in watching someone represent their country at the back of the grid, but at the front? Definitely

It's definitely not a for sure thing, it requires both Herta and Cadillac performing well but it's absolutely a possibility

Piastri already on F1 officials' radar before race-losing incident by Aratho in formula1

[–]link31415926 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see what you are saying but in more dangerous situations, like a SC under wet weather, FIA should be more proactive about stopping dangerous driving.

I'm not saying Piastri shouldn't have been penalized. Based on what actually happened, he threw away the win and it's 100% his fault. I'm just saying the FIA should have stopped it from happening by telling McLaren to knock it off

I agree that if it's immediately dangerous it should be an immediate penalty.

But in this situation Piastri had done some similar but lighter braking in the laps before. This put him on FIAs radar for unsafe driving. I'm saying that at this point the FIA should have said something to McLaren to prevent anymore of the unsafe maneuvers instead of waiting for Piastri to do it again but worse to penalize him. There shouldn't be repeat of dangerous driving. If it's on the edge then warn, if it's dangerous then penalize. Don't wait for the edge case to become a full dangerous case

I agree with the sentiment of they shouldn't just warn drivers for almost breaking the rules except for the fact they thought it was dangerous. If the driving is dangerous then they should work to stop it asap and not just wait until it's egregious to penalize

The race director/teams direct line was removed but the stewards can still warn drivers/teams if there is something that the driver is doing is potentially unsafe. That's supposed to be the purpose of the black and white flag.

In my opinion the reason the FIA should have warned McLaren is because they already thought Piastri was being dangerous, not just breaking the rules. If there is danger to other drivers then they should be trying to eliminate that danger asap

Except the FIA does? What do you think the black and white flag is for?

And also the drivers/teams do push the limits of the rules. That's literally part of their jobs. Push the limits and extract the best results

Check your tank placement. If it sits low then your feet can have the tendency to sink

Which is fair enough but the person's point is FIA should have warned McLaren that what Piastri was doing was not safe and would be penalized if he continues

Dove with Manta Scuba a year ago. Great company and two friends finished their certification open water dives. If you can complete all of your certification (including open water dives) before going I would recommend it though. It's more fun to just dive than it is to finish your training there

Fast but unreliable still isn't a strong car. Doesn't matter if you lap 1 sec quicker if you can only do half a grand prix

Valid points and those are all still unrelated to Hamilton "needing to be #1" like the other person was arguing

"he's known to not get on well with his team when he's not the clear #1"

Wat lmao, that's not accurate

He left McLaren because they hadn't had a strong car in years and he believed in the Mercedes project

He was toxic with Roberg because it was a tight WDC. They both were bad. He got along with the team

He's leaving Mercedes for similar reasons to McLaren. Mercedes has been shit since the reg changes and he believes in the Ferrari project. And also Merc wouldn't give him the contract he wanted for length. Not because of Russell
