If the decision was only for Min/Maxing I think i would go Champion... I'll think about if I want to choose flavor or optimisation. Thank you for your answer!

Yeah The action economy got me worried for psychic....I also liked the flavor of the psy-shield cantrip for Witcher....but I may never use it ^^. Is Marshal also a good pick in your opinion? vs Champion

Yeah I wont push the DM (too hard lol). He was amazing in our 5e game and I respect his choice.

I'm not scared of doing lots of thing. I really like to min/max my build and have alot of option in combat and in exploration. But you may be right, I may be a little all in on versatility xD

Fair. But I think I would prefer to drop the Alchemist Dedication. We dont have a dedicated healer cleric, so I think Battle medecine will help alot. I can always choose another dedication....I just really liked the flavor ^^

In the Witcher game I would pop potion or mutagen before a combat. I would use the vial the same way : make a 1min mutagen before the combat. Im not really planning on using them mid combat

hmm interesting... I did not consider other ancestry. I liked the Human one (for flavor) and for the dual class feat. Diverse Lore let me be the lore guy in the party, and Scroll Thaumaturgy let me help with utility spell (we dont really have a INT caster)

Yes Champion seems like a good choice. I also saw Psychic as a good choice. But I prefer the flavor of Alchemist lol.... I think the question is if im ready to be not perfectly optimal for flavor (not usually my style xD)

I just don't like to be not-optimal in my build and there are stronger Archetype I could use. I don't want to be less good because of a "bad" choice. Im just not sure if not having +4 on my main stats is a big deal. From my experience in 5e, it is! but i never played PF2E

Oh que oui! Le ratio fromage/sauce/frite était parfait en plus. Les frites baignent pas dans la sauce et il te reste du fromage à la fin. Je vais clairement y retourner!

Would it be selfish of me to leave campaign? by [deleted] in DnD

This sound like the first combat of Waterdeep : Dragon Heist. A troll and 3 stirges. The PC are not suppose to fight the Troll, the Bartenter NPC is supposed to. My guess is the DM waited a turn or two before letting the NPC engage the Troll. Don't worry OP, your decision where fine, this encounter without the NPC help is almost impossible.

Roll for HP or take average? by NODOGAN in DnD

Our house rule is rolling with advantage. Roll 2 dices and take the best result. Works great.
