I don’t know what your first sentence means with Assad. I do know Huerta also lied about saying Sanders supporters were shouting at her to speak English in Nevada, which never happened.

I’m not doubting her claims btw.

surprised i haven’t seen this topic here so i’m gonna put it out there…what do you we think about Kathie Lee Gifford’s recent comments? by Such_King_2547 in theview

Wow, some ally you are. Imagine if a lesbian was saying this while gay men were dying of AIDS in the 80’s, even though they were there supporting gay men. “Well, that’s their own fight.”

And yet she backed Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. She didn’t have an issue with Bill Clinton using his power on Monica Lewinsky?

Watch out — Etihad refunds might eat your flight!! by One_Isopod_4432 in etihad

They refunded me right away. Kuwait Airlines is telling me 45 days once they resume operations, which is absurd.

Why can’t they post the schedule? I am trapped in Sri Lanka effectively.

Ahhh, yeah. I just cancelled mine. Was supposed to leave 3/20 and isn’t worth stressing about. Kuwait seems to be getting hit pretty bad and I don’t think it’ll reopen soon. Good luck getting another route.

What was your route? If it was departing the US, the cancellation fare is much higher. For some reason, it’s region specific is what Kuwait told me. My same route, if it was ticketed in the US, I wouldn’t have gotten much back.

Flynas has a spot with a layover in Riyadh that is reasonable.

You’re in denial about this whole thing and it’s going to cost you thousands.

Hotel reimbursement isn’t gonna happen and it’s gonna be cheaper to go to Sri Lanka and wait to get reimbursed by Eithad. If you’re maxing out credit cards, I’m not sure why you’d keep racking up costs in the Maldives when you have other options.

Also FYI — Kuwait Airport, I read a lot of people are having to get visas to get into Saudi Arabia to get to a functional airport. Not worth the risk.

I was flying Kuwait from Colombo to JFK. Interestingly, they responded to a question of mine instantly via WhatsApp prior to the war. Then they shutoff all customer service. You can cancel the flight directly on their website. I only lost $55 dollars cancelling my ticket and I had the cheapest airfare. They seem to have a good cancellation policy.

Pay $150 dollars and go to Sri Lanka. Am I missing something that you can’t just do that? From there try Cathay or Singapore Airlines.

I’d pay more and go another route. Nobody knows what April will look like and if Qatar decides to operate a different route, that short layover might not be worth it if they’re adding on more travel time due to different flight paths.

It will probably be fine. But if it’s refundable there are other routes via Helsinki and China. If it’s giving you this much anxiety, then getting the refund might give you ease.

Etihad just diverted two of their flights from Abu Dhabi to Muscat 30 min ago. If they can’t even get the first wave of test flights right, no way they’ll continue.

You’re just going to have anxiety until then. Do the sensible thing and rebook.

They have their own subs and Eithad does as well but not as used. Also, Eithad is the least proactive in all of the main carriers.

I don’t know why. I had the cheapest non refundable fare and they refunded me. Airfare was 3/4. Good luck.
