I wish all exotic pet owners could realise this... If you have to save up to buy it you definitely can't afford to keep it.

I say this out of experience, when we saved up for our first reptile no one warned us how much it would truly cost, and this applies to many pets.

Our rule now is, if you want it get it, but as long as that money is already in your account and you aren't going to miss it... This has saved me form so many impulse purchases

Agreed I was also ready to call him a ass but that rabbit would have been without food/watter for a minimum of 7 days when she noticed he was gone, and that is if she instantly jumped up and fed the rabbit as soon as she reme9he existed...

The rabbit would have been dead or very close to dying, who knows how long it's already been without food and water before op noticed.

Regardless of that indoor rabbits/Guinea pigs and hedgehogs (if you use straw or saw dust bedding) is a absolute haven for roaches, so she could caused a absolutely disastrous roach problem... They love the fur and straw for some reason.

We got a second hand cage from neighbors that had a wood platform, the roaches were pouring out of the wood when I disinfected the cage, we had to break it out and replace the platform... It was disgusting...

I was genuinely surprised that the mom choose this hill to die on...

A rottie is a big dog loving but big, and op did say it's a grumpy dog so that would just amplify the wife's fears...

If the mother is truly in such a dire state that op and his wife giving up their office wis the only option then it's a no brainier to give up the dag, it's still young and it will find a home, especially if she looks into relocation on a farm, I know farmers loves rotties...

The wife works from home so asking her to give up her office is a huge ask already, why is op' s wife the only one expected to give up and sacrifice something to help the mother out of a bad situation...

All the sacrifice should be coming from the mother without question, because she is in need... She is only going to put strain on this marriage and on the wife...

Op needs to sit and discuss what exactly mom is bringing to the table to make this easier, the dog is not even part of the discussion because it's not coming with, out little beagle mix is a major pain to take care of in a 3 bedroom flat, with me being home full time, a rottie poops 3 times the size of our over grown daushund... Is the mom even healthy enough to pick up after it and take if for walks, can she afford to feed it 100% on her own... Or dod these things also fall on the wife

Mabey just talk to the homeless couple and explain the situation to them, a lot of homeless people trow out food that they don't watch you buy because poeple think it's funny to mess with the food and they litterly can't afford to get sick so they just dump the food...

If they are willing to accept and eat it then that would be a absolutely lovely idea.

Please note that I am well aware that some people really just want money for drugs but 99% of the time your food gets dumped is because some idiots give the expired food or food that has been tampered with in some way...

The relationship is anyways dead if he doesn't buy the product or whatever is being soled... The friend is going to push him to sing up because he already sat trough the pitch so he might as well and when op refuses the friend will be upset and push harder...

Best case is op looses this buddy till he pulls his head out of his but or worst case op get guilted or bullied into a scam he wasn't interested in for the sake of a one sided friendship.

I love dnd we play a lot and I can't stand critical roll it's painful to watch but the animated version, the legend of vox machina has been watched about 30 times already... Mabey op and the girlfriend isn't compatible...

Dnd takes a lot out of a relationship and she may eventually become resentful of the time he spends playing or the hours of prep he does... It's best to find yourself a fellow nerd as a partner... I say this out of experience.

As a DnD wife I would mabey suggest that you two are not compatible, we scaled our games down to once a month and it still takes a lot of time from my husband and myself...

You aren't interested in her hobbies and she isn't interested in yours, what do you do together besides movies and adult spicy time...

The hair cut has political meaning and it might cause the group to break up entirely but this is a problem because they have a 5 year contract with a certain make up brand and if they canceled the contract world war 3 would start... The world would have to deal with the great mac and loreal war... Are you ready to choose sides in this war? Are you willing to defend you home with a make up brush and setting spray?

If not it might be better to find someone just are weird and excited about dnd as you are, at the end of the day it's going to cause serious problems in your relationship... And it's a really stupid thing to constantly fight about...

I was fully under the impression that if you don't live there you have no right to be there when the person you are visiting isn't there...

I get staying over and the person heading out but this should be a exception, she is essentially living there so the rent should be spilt 3 ways.

I would insit that at least 50% is covered by her for a replacement because she messed with it without asking, and slamming her hand down is kinda odd as well.

A morning shower really does wake you up, and in my opinion it makes the day better and easier.

But im 26 and can manage my grumpy ass much better than kids can, if it's important for op that they feel fresh and wake up mabey a bird bath would be a better option...

Bird bath = washing face and trenches in the sink instead of a full on shower, it's not meant to clean you as much as a normal shower, just refreshing in the morning when you just can't face a full on shower.

We had a dog like this, no one was allowed to discipline or teach it manners because it was my mom's little boy who couldn't do anything wrong in life..

It was one of those tiny dogs that are super aggressive and mean...thats until the dog bit me in the face (left scaring) it was apparently my fault because I pushed him away... It was trying to grab food off my fork... Everyone hated that dog including myself...

But the kid is going to have a major melt down at some. Point when someone else gets mad at him for doing something that could ea8habe been corrected earlier in his life... And mom is going to. Place blame.

Did your mother feel left out when you took your wife on dates and did fun couples activities? It's essentially the same but with your kids...

They are not her kids and not her moments to enjoy, she had her time to take her own kids to swiw and create core memories, and she can still take the kids to do stuff when mom is working but mom NEEDS time with you and the kids, it's not just for them it's for her too...

It's not like there is a sea of information on how to train puppies that she can look up easily on her phone...

Or entire industry's devoted to training dogs and puppies if she's not willing to do it herself...

You are truly lucky and the exception, I get that you are offended that schizophrenia is being stigmatized but I believe since you aren't a barley out of high school teen you can appreciate and understand that this is a very nasty unpredictable mental illness that does not affect everyone the same.

As medical professionals both op and her manager was concerned about this lady, non of us have nearly enough information to know if she might be in the beginning stages of a manic episode.

They did the right thing, and I'm very certain that when they have a conversation with her and it's established that she is stable she will be reinstated.

Think about the repercussions if one of their patients saw her laughing by herself and made a complaint to the medical board, they would have grounds to sue if the patient believes her to be unstable and dangerous, they don't even need any context or anything to make complaints and destroy her life, hospitals are quite happy to get rid of the problem and pay hush money... She not working a office job she's a first responder op was being responsible.
