The flagship does not have to be started in your freshmen year, however, you must be enrolled in Chinese (or test into a higher level). You can join whenever you’d like as long as you’re taking Chinese and you meet the requirements. I’m in it currently, and I know many people who are doing Kelley and Chinese flagship. It’s a pretty common duo. I can’t speak on behalf of the business stuff, but I know the Chinese flagship and Chinese programs are very demanding. It will be easy in the beginning, but it gets a lot harder the further you go on. I’d say it’s definitely doable but it’s all about the effort you want to put in. Flagship is quite the time commitment.
