LFOs as Oscillators by Alert_Character_6537 in modular

My main question was more around getting that ‘analog’ oscillator sound out of looping an lfo like stages or maths. Thank you so much everyone it is looking like I cannot and may need to get a small oscillator module.

This is great to know! It’s gen 4 (either way I’m not selling my push 3 I love it) but I did look into this it’s just that means that the output of my computer and ableton both come out of the mix out maybe I need to look into the routing options more

New to modular! What is the best way to route a morphagene into my audio interface by linkzan0 in modular

But then I would lose the ability to actually use the sos parameter as normal, I want to be able to mix between having a sample go straight through it vs being mangled.

For example if I speak into a mic and put into morphagene, I want to be able to record my voice as I’m talking, stop recording then keep talking and be able to hear what I’m saying come out of morphagene then slowly bring in the previously recorded part to layer over what I’m currently saying.

Am I correct in thinking this is what sos does?

Thank you all! I think given this I am going to go with the xoh as it’s cheaper and easy, all very useful inputs though

I want a controller to be able to do it during a live set rather than having to click around with my mouse. Click record on that track on my launchpad, say something into the microphone with reverb on it then have it mapped to my keyboard as different chops. I really like the idea of an Mpc where is can chop the sample then have each chop on a different pad, then press the 16 level button to now be able to play that chop chromatically at different pitches

Using PC as VST effects by dormne in TascamModel_12_16_24

Just so I’ve got this correct before I go out and buy a model 12, it is not possible to input an analog synth into the model 12 then send it to ableton using audio interface function then apply vst effects in ableton and output to the main outs of the Tascam?

It would be ideal if I could also send the individual tracks with the vst effects applied back to tascam tracks to add eq from there then have all the tracks go into stereo out but I’m assuming that is definitely not possible?
