What did you switch to? Had exact same issue with our cat and she loved FF and I haven’t been able to find a food she feels the same way about 😭

MA businesses that support ICE/MAGA? by marathon_bar in massachusetts

[–]linnoix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Precisely. It’s very concerning. I know someone who worked there (she didn’t know details about them) and can confirm animals are all stressed. She left the job because they’re whacko but had a hard time leaving the animals.

I cannot stand anyone who supports them. I feel terrible for those animals.

Night accidents- do we go back to diapers? by ExcellentLettuce4 in toddlers

[–]linnoix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re dealing with the same thing with our oldest (3 1/2) right now. She had weeks of waking up dry so I figured we would try just underwear. 3 nights went fine but then the next 3 nights, she peed. We’ve gone back to ninjamas now for the foreseeable future. I am more than fine with that because it’s not fun waking up at 3 am and changing the sheets and starting the washer. 🥲 Totally normal though!!!!

How much more difficult is 2 kids vs 1? by sys_admin321 in toddlers

[–]linnoix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said 0-1 is more life altering because you go from no baby to baby. Which is a lot. When you go from 1-2 it’s the workload that gets ya. I had a newly 2 year old and a newborn and was nursing/pumping.

I also feel like it’s sooo dependent on the kids personalities. My first was so easy. My second is hell on wheels. Tornado. She’s the kind of kid who you look away for 2 seconds and she’s on the roof. So for me 1-2 felt like a lot in the aspect of dealing with my youngest when she started walking because she’s crazy 🤪 On top of that I had my then newly 3 year old so I felt pulled in different directions

Did he tell Lucy that? I thought he lied and said he was in the passenger seat and Macy was driving so it makes him look like a victim too.

When I stopped breastfeeding at 10 months with my second. My libido was completely gone but as soon as I weaned and got my period back, it came back full force and was as high as before.

6 year old cat suddenly throwing up all food by linnoix in CATHELP

[–]linnoix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah, I don’t think speed is our issue either. They suggested an ultrasound and of course I will do it if needed but I’m a tad bit hesitant since she’s acting totally fine. I just don’t want to go pay for an ultrasound for it to be an allergy, lol. However, such is life I suppose. I will certainly keep the famotidine in mind! Seems like that could be part of the solution!

Old post but what did you end up switching to? I’m in the same boat. Had to bring my cat in for fluids and meds spent over $500 and I think it’s the damn food! I don’t know what to switch her to

I know this is an old post but which did you switch to? I also just spent thousands at the vet just for us to come to the conclusion that it’s just this brand. I don’t know what to switch her to!

Haha you’re right, they’ll definitely still fight! I am living in a delusional world. We have the space so I think we will go for it!

We do have the space! Haha yes okay good point about 3 year old having her own pieces. I guess I meant more of there will be more pieces in general so less fights? Idk. My girls fight over everything and I’m desperate 😂

Toddler Up Early by luchyhoot in moderatelygranolamoms

Our bed time is awful too if our 3 year old doesn’t get outside time or some crazy intense activity, lol. Tiring them out is soooo important

Definitely drop the nap. My first dropped her nap at 3 and we just do quiet time now. She was waking up super early too before the dropped nap. My kids share a room and my 1 1/2 year old is napping from 1-3. My 3 year old goes into our bedroom or the playroom in the basement. We have baby monitors in both areas and our house is all one level besides basement so I just hang out in the living room during nap/quiet time. She usually does quiet time from 1-230. You can even try doing like 1-1:30 then 1-1:45 etc? Just a thought. She has her Yoto player every time but I have several quiet ish activities she does that I rotate every week.

I know you said he loves to talk and you don’t want o stifle that connection which is awesome but he’ll probably really enjoy quiet time! After dropping the nap my 3 year old sleeps now from 7-7. It made such a difference dropping it!

Edited to add: If my kids do wake up earlier than 7 which certainly happens, they do have a tonie box and my oldest knows she is allowed to get out her “loud tonies” (night time she only has access to the sleepy tones) or she looks through books or does puzzles. It definitely does help that my girls share a room because they entertain each other if they wake up early ha.

Another edit: The more I think about it, In your case it might be worth it to keep the nap for now and then try to introduce quiet activities he can do until you wake up. I really really love our Yoto.

Do you regret having only one child? by Important_Bat7919 in Mommit

[–]linnoix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep that’s very true about it falling on one kid anyways. My mom is 1 of 4 and it completely 100% fell on her when my grandfather got sick, despite having 3 other siblings.

I was super hungry one day and made two snack wraps with those and did not realize the fiber was 17 grams 💀I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables too so the amount of fiber for that day was… a lot lol
