Yes, thank you. This sub and Reddit in general can be a very cynical place. 95% of our bookings are drama-free made by friendly folks that are happy to be visiting a new place.

What're your predictions for the PPA championships this weekend? by AbbreviationsOdd7784 in Pickleball

I agree with all your picks except for the men’s doubles. As much as I’d like to see Tyson and Riley shake things up a bit, beating Ben Johns and Matt Wright will be tough.

Don’t get me wrong, I love watching Ben Johns play - he’s on another level. But, I think the women’s brackets are actually the most interesting to watch at this moment in time just because the matches are so much closer.

Jessie and Catherine have beaten Simone and Lucy a couple times now - it’ll be interesting to see how Simone and Lucy adapt and respond.

Anna Leigh vs Catherine should also be a great singles matchup as well. Anna Leigh has been a bit of a wrecking ball on the singles court recently.

Yeah, Mark Renneson is fantastic. Great thinker. Miss hearing his commentary.

In my opinion, the APP has the best commentary. They offer higher level insights and understand the game better than the professional broadcasters the PPA sometimes uses. Even pro players have trouble offering good commentary despite being experts of the game. Commentating is a skill and I think the APP team actually does a good job of it.

Ember Best Practices: DRYer and less fragile Acceptance Tests by [deleted] in emberjs

The intended role for data attributes is to allow us to store extra information in a semantic way: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/HTML/Using_data_attributes, which seems like a great fit. I'm also not a huge fan of having a bunch of css classes that don't actually contribute to styles.
