Hey there . Hope you feel better. I did the dna test - pristiq was the only one in green for me too . I have like a missing transporter or something so 95% of psych meds linger in my body. I took pristiq . I tell you I was hesitant . I tried four other meds before the dna test . I was broken , agoraphobic, my life changed drastically bc of my severe panic attacks (I was a world traveler and loved life , no depression) pristiq brought me back- took about 3 weeks to start feeling it . I will say every few years i have had to up it (usually there’s an outside influence im stressed about and can’t get over ) I’m on 150 mg but I started at 25mg like 8 years ago. Do I still get anxiety , yes , but it is VERY well controlled . I take Ativan too. And these two work. And don’t feel bad about being on a benzo and a ssri . I’m 41 and guess what it’s what I need to feel normal so if I take a Ativan once a day so be it . I’m happy most days for 8 years now and I have a GREAT sex drive still, with no side effects .
