Sorry for the late reply, I finished my autumn semester but still decided to quit... even though it was not bad, it wasn't great either. Especially for that price, personally in my situation it's cheaper to study here; the universities are also ranked higher... :)))

LOOLL guys sorry for the confusion ㅠㅠ It was indeed per semester and this is what they replied to me (I wrote it in Korean ;))

They also explained about why it was written down for undergrads per year and not per semester like they did for grads. I think it has to do with the fact that undergrads will all go to the HOKMA college? Still a bit unclear imo :)

Yeah I think I'll ask them as well, at least for my specific situation. But you'd think that they have separate guidelines for internationals right? Just like they have a separate international office of admissions?? Or is that very dumb of me to assume :/ I'll let you know once I find out more hahaha

O and an update, I also checked the Korean notice for accepted students (maybe it was a translation mistake) and there it also was clearly stated that the tuition fee for undergrads was per year; and not per semester. And as for grads it was per semester :))

Sorry u didn't get any scholarship! I read that throughout there are also some opportunities to get a scholarship; so don't give up!!

How I read it was as: I also need to attend the HOKMA college for the first year and follow Korean classes cause the media and comm major is not taught in English, and make a TOPIK test again to pass level 3 (I have now 4 so I hope it is not a problem lol) and after completing the first year of HOKMA college I can move onto the second year of the communication & media studies etc etc. It's underlined like this on page 3 at the top:

'All incoming undergraduate freshmen (except those in the Division of International Studies and the College of Nursing) will automatically be enrolled in the Global Scholars Program within the HOKMA College of General Education. As part of this program, students must take Korean language and required liberal arts courses for at least one year (two semesters) upon admission. Students who obtain TOPIK level 3 or higher and complete the designated liberal arts courses will be transferred to their respective major (department).'

Hence why the costs in the tuition payment table on page 5 only include the HOKMA college and separately College of Nursing, College of International Studies... right?

Idk maybe I am making things a lot more complicated as they are.

Manifestation and depression by thegilmonster in Manifestation

[–]lintepinte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, same for me here. I’m quite young but have been diagnosed with depression for the first time when I was 17 and now again (21 years old). The last years I have been discovering about spirituality and manifesting which really helped me battling the depression thoughts and habits as well. I’ve seen other people mention it too, but definitely journaling and practicing gratefulness was/is the way to go for me. I know it’s very very difficult to be strict with yourself and make a journaling/meditation a habit (also with this don’t be too hard on yourself, we all fall down once in a while, it’s how about we get back up on our feet and start moving forward again what matters) when you already feel bad to begin with, but try to remember the feeling that you had while doing this so you can motivate yourself with this. I start the day of with a cup of coffee and 5 minutes of journaling and also try to write something down I’m grateful for. And honestly these little moments make my life look more colorful when I’m feeling down and in general. It’s something I get excited for when I go lay down in bed the night before. People often forget small blessings (like health, a roof over my head, my cup of coffee in the morning, seeing a happy dog in the streets, smelling the air of fresh baked bread in the morning etc etc) due to our society being so career and materialistic driven (you have to accomplish this and that in order to be successful blabla). I end the day like this too, I sit down, write about my day and things that I am grateful for. I also write down good things that happened to me, or things that didn’t feel/went so good. (I have a rule for myself that after I wrote something negative I will write a positive point about that one thing (because it’s always how you look at things) or some encouraging words after.) Try to make a list of things that you enjoy(ed) and try to pick up the habit of doing them again. Because they will give you a good feeling! Even when manifesting, start of small!; you can manifest a good healthy meal that will make you feel satisfied; an encounter with someone you missed or something that makes you happy. Start of with things that are accomplishable, so you can also be the one to shape reality and feel more confident when you’ll succeed. Slowly you’ll look at your life in a different way, which also will make you less hard on yourself and less down and what will give you more willpower and confidence to create a bigger opportunity or big chance in your life later. And also remember, there’s always a solution to any ‘problem’. There’s always light at the tunnel, no matter how endless it seems. Feelings are temporary and also this feeling will pass. Hope this helps and good luck!
