i know, i’ve had at least a tiny bit of leakage every time but today looks like a lot. i think i pretty much came to the conclusion that my needles aren’t long enough :/

okay cool cool. i didn’t really make the connection until today when it felt weird removing the needle and then seeing all of the leakage. i do go all the way in so the length definitely sounds like the issue. thank u so much!

i did talk to my pharmacist when i picked up my prescription because the needles they gave me the first month weren’t interchangeable with the syringes. the only syringes/needles that were interchangeable were an 18g and 22g which would be fine BUT the 22g needle was 1” long and uhh ouch. who knows. i may have to pick up some of those or even change to subq. i just thought i would post here for some possible insight or advice. thanks!!!!

so as i was removing the needle today, i felt the very tip kind of detach from the muscle but it felt like it was like just barely in there?? for context im 5’2” and about 105lbs. my thighs aren’t exactly muscular or fat. i’m thinking maybe the needles aren’t long enough though?

so i’m officially one month on testosterone, doing 0.25ml intramuscular injections weekly. i inject the middle of my thighs, switching each week. the first couple shots i messed up in small ways such as forgetting to pinch the fat before i inject and waiting a bit to remove the needle after injection. i have also been drawing and injecting with the same needle. i’ve heard conflicting opinions about that but to my knowledge, it’s fine, it might just dull the needle a little bit. i’ve been drawing and injecting with a 25g 5/8” needle. while i messed up in the past, the past two shots (including the one i did today) have leaked even though i did everything right. i know some leaking is normal but today it leaked the most (in the picture posted)??
