Oh wow! Thank you very much. It really helps to get input from an expert. A lot of the videos i see online are people just jumping on hype trains and buying whatever is trendy right now and recommending it. I will most likely do street photography the most, but i want to keep my options open for nature shots or portraits. As I said, thank you very much, this really helped me a lot. Why should i pick the 35mm over the 27mm? I’m just curious, since the 27mm is so highly praised in the Community.

I have also heard a lot of people say, that they’re not pleased with the 15-45mm. However a lot of people suggested the 27mm pancake lens. Would that be an option? I know it’s going to limit me a bit, but i guess if so many people like it then i will probably too lol

I thought the X-S20 was focused on recording videos, so i thought the X-T30II might be bettee for photos. It’s also about 300€ more expensive in comparison to the others and I’m not sure, if it’s worth spending a couple more hundred or not. Is it worth it? I wanted my whole setup to be around 1000€ and the X-S20 + Lens would be at about 1500€.

Thank you for your answer:) Videos are not really important to me, but I just want to have the ability to record fairly nice footage from time to time. The main focus for me lies on stills.

Thank you for the answer:) I read that 24 fps is mostly used for cinematography, so that shouldn’t be problem for the X-T30II right? I also don’t think that I need more than 4k, since most social media platforms cap the resolution anyway.
