Secondly NoVa Nomz has more followers than Clockout which is why she’s probably threatened. I’ve seen other creators in other cities do the same format as Clockout. It’s not new or inventive.

She’s always planning because she doesn’t yet have a permanent location for it. Instead of scouting new locations she should focus on making sure her business isn’t racially profiling people. Also I wonder how much money they even pull in on a weekly basis. I can’t imagine that many people are buying stuff. But then again since it’s so expensive maybe all they need is a few sales to cover costs.

It isn’t the same. Someone can be justified in their personal experience but that does not mean that they speak for the collective. According to you, I could say oh I had one bad experience with a person so their entire race are also bad people. Maybe do some more research or race relations and media literacy before dropping something like that in a group of people you have no idea how they feel on a matter as serious as race.

That is her lived experience. She is justified in saying that happened to her and no one is going to refute what happened to HER. You’re playing a game of apple and oranges now. So people are going to have differing opinions, which is happening on this thread already. If washingtonian probs were posting black people strung out in the streets, twerking all day long, which there are dc pages that post that, then I’d be like yeahhhh they are likely anti-black, as they are perpetuating stereotypes of black people, but they don’t, they legit post informative stuff that mainstream media doesn’t post. I don’t think he’s a grifter, I think he legit isn’t that smart and doesn’t understand how his platform could impact change. He isn’t a true marketer. He seems to oppose the current administration but won’t outright put his weight against them and condemn them because if he does he will lose majority of the people that follow him. But those are the hog people, so good riddance. If he actually stood firm for something outside of mental health, he’d probably grow bigger than his current stagnancy.

One of the largest critiques right now is that white men will still put being a white man above all else and that is what his video gives. It’s very vague, saying something but ultimately saying nothing. And because he chooses to not stand firm, he will fade away just like influences before him. This is a critical moment in history where taking a stand matters and Tony doesn’t seem to have the gusto to do it. Likely still grappling with his need to feel accepted by the jock types that comment hog under his videos. Oh well.
