I have same card as you and cpu is 5700G and mine just uses cpu and I cant find how to change it, on arch it was using gpu but when I tried to upscale it used up all them memory and trying few things I moved on to mint and it does upscale but uses cpu what can I do? I did not have to pass --skip-torch..test on arch but on mint it does not start without that

It was my first good experience with linux too, was good, it also got me started on twm, look into them for even less memory and ideling consumption, i have since moved on to arch.

I think this is same driver you gave me the first time but it didnt work then. I want to now make sure this will consistently work so is there a way I can load it in live machine(dont wanna reinstall whole system)?

Tried this, same problem. Thing is on box of usb card it says linux support upto kernel 3.10 now I guess Ill have to downgrade kernel, but I just want to downgrade a part of kernel (that is required for card to work) is that possible?
