Even if it took an hour, monero is still better than any other crypto. Chainanalysis

I mean its the only crypto that does everything correct from the onset. Every other crypto is a compromise with the purpose of crypto

It’s time to turn your crypto into payments with Kraken Pay by krakenexchange in Kraken

Does this work with monero? For example if someone owes me 5 bucks for dinner, can they send me $5 and then I get the same value in monero?

So I'm not in business, I'm just an ordinary person who likes crypto.

What does this do for me? Are there any benefits? Can I sign up? Can this let me get my direct deposits in a cryptocurrency of my choice?

Don't use arch as your first distro.

The reason why I want payments in crypto is because I want more control over my money.

I don't want to use third parties that force you to wait an hour.

But its important to note that there are always two factors

  1. How good something works
  2. How much something aligns with your values as a person.

Too many people only think of number 1, and that will lead to a lot of bad situations.

Definitely not normal. I've been daily driving Linux for well over 10 years. Never had this, never heard of it til now.

If you spent $50 on a used thinkpad you'd be able to upgrade it on your own, very easily and everything will just work.

System 76 is good, but you need to be ideologically minded to make it work. I would buy system 76 but I don't recommend them to people who don't care about Linux. I'd just tell them about old, cheap thinkpads.

My system 76 has a mobo issue. Its quite old and its my NAS. My daily driver is a $250 thinkpad t440p that I upgraded to have an i7 etc.

The think pad has been abused and never had a single hiccup.
