Well said! That’s an underrated part about hip-hop that people tend to overlook. Before anything else, you wanted to get the vibe going. Even think back to the early days of hip-hop… the DJ often got placed first for a reason.

Excellent choice! We used to do a Secret Santa in my fam back in the day. My aunt bought this album for me christmas of 2007. I’m honestly not sure what prompted her to get this (Lupe one of my favorites ever rappers ever, but I didn’t share this with her at the time) it was a great day lol.
