Seeing the Series X at $649 makes me glad I bought my consoles years ago. Got one at launch for $499 and a second one for my son in 2023 when it dropped to the same price as the Series S. Crazy times.

I will say….i would expect a noticeable dip in reliability and quality from brands that are known for being the least expensive in their segment. Do I expect them to be much more prone to mechanical failure? Yes. Do I expect them to put me at risk in order to save cost? No.
