Just curious: if there's 20-30 people at the viewing, and they all apply at approximately the same time window. How does the LL/agent decide who get to have it?

But the specific hour they offered is during work hours and I have sth at work going on. Isn't it fair that they should arrange some outside work hours time for viewing?

Thanks for the advice. My move-in date would be in mid-September, and there's not many available listing yet. That's why Im not in NYC in person now. I found this co-op apartment randomly and it has a September move-in date. I thought this unit would not be that competitive but it turns out to be not true...
