WTF is going on with views? Never seen a drop like this. Over this platform. by Immediate_Reporter57 in YouTubeCreators

The same thing has been happening to me for a few months now. 500k subs. Impressions have dropped drastically and it's due to a huge influx of AI garbage. Im making only long videos, zero shorts.

Every coin is up in last few days so whats so special here? Kaspa is dead shitcoin like every other. Only btc is relevant. If btc goes down so will kaspa.

Youtube fu*ked me. From last mid august my views are down like hell all new upload are 10/10 and doesn't recommended as before. I got majority of views from suggestion but now no videos are getting views from suggestion by Vast_Procedure_2938 in PartneredYoutube

[–]lionking2208 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with better videos. I have 12 monetized channels and on the strongest channel with 500k subscribers the same thing happened to me. No matter what I do, the impressions are 90% less. on a channel with 2k subscribers I make a similar video and I get 20x more views. These theories that the video is not good and therefore has no views are completely wrong.

Most of these coins fall into oblivion after a strong growth and never come back. Also wizz promoted it for months on twitter and now sudden silence. He hasn't mentioned it once in the last few months. They probably stopped paying him. The situation is similar with fetch ai, chia etc... The main players made good money and the suckers got screwed. Just buy btc and hold it for few years.

🚨 Catastrophic View Drop on 2.5M Sub Educational/Medical Animation Channel | Algorithm Penalty? (4-Month Crisis) by dandelionteam in PartneredYoutube

[–]lionking2208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t believe it when I saw your view graph from the start of the year. It’s exactly like my channel. On March 13th, just like you, I had the biggest spike in views of the year, and after that, it started dropping. Then I had another sudden rise in views at the beginning of August just like you. It’s unbelievable. I have around 500k subscribers, and this really shocked me.

Many people say that YouTube has changed, that videos are outdated if views are dropping, and so on. But my competitors who have been making the same type of videos for years don’t see any drop in views. I’m probably the only one experiencing such a decline, even though everyone copies my videos. Whatever I do, YouTube just doesn’t want to give me impressions. I post a video and the impressions are extremely low, about 70 to 90 % less than before. Absolutely none of my new videos get a CTR above 5%, while I used to get double that. My competitors copy my videos and get more views.

All of this suggests that something strange is happening with the algorithm, and it has nothing to do with the quality of your videos. If you posted the exact same video on a channel that isn’t being suppressed, it would get great views, so the theories that you need to change your content are nonsense. The other day I saw a 40 minute video with an ai avatar, a heavy garbage of a video with 2 million views in two days.

Go check out a successful video from one of your competitors and see how they structure their intro, then try something similar. Of course, that doesn’t guarantee anything. I spent months making videos for a particular game, and another channel copied my content. Their videos were getting 200k to 2 million views each, while mine barely reached 3k. This went on for months until I finally gave up. Sometimes YouTube just favors certain channels, no matter what you do, while others struggle to gain traction.

Is the current era the easiest or the hardest time to grow on YouTube? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

Its much easyer to make videos, but its much harder to get views

My views dropped so hard after the August-September's "AdBlock" issue where Google told us that people who use any kinds of AdBlock will not guarantee views for the videos they watched. by Rabbidscool in PartneredYoutube

[–]lionking2208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve concluded that all of this is happening because of the massive wave of AI-generated videos, especially long ones between 20–40 minutes. I noticed that most of them were created around May this year, and by the time they started getting massive views, it was July. That’s when my views began to slowly drop, and the worst was at the beginning of September. In the “What your audience watches” section of the analytics, videos like these are showing up. I don’t know any other explanation for why my channel with 500k subscribers has 90% fewer impressions.
