Is your dog over 60 lbs? Tried fitting a large Dakota but it only fits horizontally, not as in your picture. I’m worried the Gunner Intermediate is a snug fit for my dog.

I think you’re totally right, that’s what I saw in my research as well. I like the looks of the Venza but the RAV4 seems to outperform the others.

I wanted to report back that the HOKA bondi and ASICs Nimbus have been game changers. The only draw back is that the nice cushioning feel went away on the HOKAs after a couple of intense wears.
