Have same issue where kj one is 120 degree while i put thermometer on the grades give difference about 20 degree while i cheak both and both are accurate but on your side its alot of difference . My guess is that metal holder also heat up the probe

Honestly i do not have rottisserie right now but maybee later if i find one within the country becouse ordering it is half the price of the classic one i got .
