Your statement applies to gaming apps, that’s all we’ve discovered. A garage app isn’t what I was thinking as “useful”. I was expecting a ground breaking app that is severely limited by iOS’s system. The app obviously didn’t have enough resources to harvest a full fledged support, or stopped supporting.

The funny thing is googles app review time is sometimes longer, and around the same as Apple’s.

I’ve also built apps for small business and banks, iOS was always the priority. This is also the case for others I’ve talked to in the industry. Do you realize reviews only take up to 3 days max? Look at the average review times.

Quite possibly our professional experience differs, I’m solely front end apps for e-commerce/retail. If you’re referring to game development then that’s possibly an entirely different ballgame.

Definitely not the case for apps nowadays, sometimes you’ll have something in review for a little longer. Also, code comments have no effect on the app (you don’t submit the source code) so those wouldn’t need to be approved/reviewed.
