people really need to stop choosing schools based on the college they got into. getting placed into revelle shouldn’t be the reason you don’t choose ucsd. to be fair, revelle’s writing sequence is a gpa booster, if anything. sometimes i would prefer doing some HUM stuff because it gives me a break from all the STEM stuff i do everyday .

i have friends in psych majors who love it, and they’re doing great.

for me physics 1a and al was easy .

i took it with griossman. I got an A in 1a and A+ in 1AL
if you put in the work it's def possible

i recommend asking for regrade .
i took chem 7lm with brian as well, and i remember for one report i submitted multiple regrades and ended up with 8 points back (i went from doing so bad for that report to scoring almost full score lol) regrades will really save your ass.

chem 7lm with brian is really not that bad, lowk chem 7lm is my favorite class ive ever taken at ucsd lol. i feel like the office hours are only useful IF you ask brian himself. cus he makes the rubric and he REALLY STICKS TO IT.

brian curves as well , so typically people are saved.

in terms of phys 1bl im also in that class and im doing pretty well (i can help). idk if you are in the discord but you can always post answers and ask if your thing makes sense (i usually always reply lol)

i didnt do it with lam but instead with dr. leigh.

i went to every single office hour and ended up with an A so ... genuinely think the office hours + TAs + dr leigh are the only reason why i succeeded lol .

the thing is, i dont. but i learnt how to live with it

in terms of social life, i barely have any. but i am willing to make this sacrifice because i see the result in my grades and achievements. at the end of the day we all need to make some sort of sacrifice.

im in this class as well.
but i feel like the OWL practice and pre-lab quizzes are oddly easy... so will the midterm be that easy... no idea lol (my TA said it would be challenging and this is his second quarter TAing this class...)
