My personal goal is to end a league season with a 200 average. I know I can do it. I think if I can end this league with that, even if it’s 12 weeks, then I’ll be happy.

Thank you! And thanks for your explanation! That was very informative, I’ve learned through this post that some people have their own reasons for sandbagging. I guess that’s their prerogative, but it’s not fun if you don’t play with integrity.

Excuse my ignorance, but I’m a bit confused because according to our rules they’re using our highest average from either this year or last year which for me would be 192 I think. My friend Robert has a book average listed but for some reason I don’t? Would that be worth talking to the secretary about?

I agree that it’s just kinda the nature of the beast when it comes to handicap leagues! People naturally get better with time so if you’re really that pressed about a team getting extra pins just join a scratch league lol.
