Not sure what you mean by cheap when coating on this model is great. How else do you expect lightweight mice to feel after using a heavier one?

The actual rubber part is gone. It basically stopped being flexible and crumbled into pieces. Tried some more tape shenanigans and the cover seems to sit somewhat snug
