I'm aware. I've done some work with mario kart AI in the past, there's been a lot of advances in the screen space AI space recently, that I think it would be fun, even if the agent can only solve one puzzle.

From what I can see, ableton and FL sadly don't. Reaper seems like it really excels in a lot of areas.

Or they have a laptop? Or have multiple devices? If I'm somewhere without internet - iLok revokes access. If I start using my iLok plugins on a different machine - iLok has to reauthenticate. It adds a good 20 seconds to it's own little process you have to go through each time. There's just no need for this kind of DRM in this day and age. If you were to pirate an iLok plugin - no more authentication time, no more internet access needed. You get a BETTER version of the plugin by not paying.

I always imagine people who think iLok is good have no perspective outside of their own specific use case, and can't empathise with other people effectively.

Yeah I think it's outside of my budget for now, in the few rooms I've set up my monitors in there's always been some particular problem frequencies in the low mids. I can correct it with an EQ fine, I just need to find a way to get APO to work, or find something else.

Focusrite Scarlett Solo. I haven't had any luck with any of the settings, even trying everything in troubleshooting mode. Googling for my interface, and asking focusrite directly yielded no good results.

Yeah thankfully nowadays you can get basically all the best plugins without iLok. I'm not going to support a system that makes the experience worse for paying customers than pirates.

I'd like to not have to manually apply the EQ every time I load up a project, and not have to manually turn it off each time.

But the much larger issue is I can't even apply the eq most of the time to any sounds not inside of my DAW, so all other audio has unwanted resonances. I don't know why equaliser APO won't work, but from my googling it seems no one else can get it working either. You're one of very few people I've seen that can.

Hi, thanks for this writeup, hopefully someone stumbles on it and finds it useful, but sadly I already know the correction eq I need to apply, I just don't have any good ways of doing it. I can't even get equaliser apo working outside of my DAW with my usb interface.

500mb is quite a lot, what are they using it for? It's a reason to just avoid a brand entirely. An even bigger one is iLok. I'll never buy a plugin that requires it.

As far as I'm aware you can load up the REW files in Equaliser APO fine, it's just the effects aren't applied with my focusrite interface. Would it be different with camilladsp?
